Coalition for Sustainable Development

Estonian Coalition for Sustainable Development brings together Estonian private companies, CSOs and public institutions who act on behalf of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The aim of the Coalition is to become a cooperation and information platform whose members contribute towards a more sustainable world each in their own way.

The aims of the Coalition:

  • raise the awareness of each other and of the public on sustainable development,
  • give input to policy development,
  • contribute to development monitoring,
  • establish effective cooperation among the members.
The founding meeting of the Coalition on April 13, 2018.

The activities of the Coalition are financed by the Global Citizenship Education project Bridge47 and the development and humanitarian aid funds provided by the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Terveilm

Estonian Roundtable for Development Cooperation (AKÜ) is an independent not-for-profit coalition of non-governmental organisations that work in the field of development cooperation, global citizenship education or sustainable development.

AKÜ is a strategic partner for Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a consultant the state in field of development cooperation, global citizenship education or sustainable development.

AKÜ also provides workshops and consultancy for private sector companies as well as for wider public on sustainable development goals and global issues. 

The highest decision-making body is the General Assmebly.  AKÜ’s legal representative is the Board, which is also responsible for managing the organisation’s staff.
